You'll delight in the rooms we share with our guests. Of course, you'll find our bedrooms comfortable and spacious, but we hope you'll take the time to relax in our downstairs rooms where you'll find lovely lounges, a large dining room and a delightful conservatory.
You can log on with our free broadband in any of these rooms or enjoy satellite TV in the library or, by arrangement, in our large drawing room.
THE CONSERVATORY
Light and airy, this is the perfect place to kick back and relax over a coffee or a glass of wine, play backgammon, cards or dominoes, or just watch the many common and exotic birds at play in our "feeding tree" just outside.
ENTRANCE HALL
Warm and welcoming, with an antique desk for writing postcards and glorious wing-backed leather chairs before a large log-burning stove.
THE DINING ROOM
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast with a touch of class at our huge antique dining table where you can warm yourself on crisp winter mornings before our log-burning stove and enjoy our spectacular breakfasts. There's also a comfy seating area around a log burning stove to relax with coffee or something stronger.
THE LIBRARY
Relax in front of the open fire and browse our thousands of books in this part of our extensive collection. There's a satellite TV here too and of course games and broadband access. The perfect place to enjoy afternoon tea, a complementary sherry or to share a bottle of wine from the Jinlye bar.
OUR KITCHEN
This is where we prepare our award-winning breakfasts. Organic, locally-sourced produce, home-baked bread, blueberry drop pancakes, porridge with cream, brown sugar or honey, home made muffins, full farmhouse Aga-cooked platters, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, poached duck eggs, and special treats like our unique bacon and mushroom fritters with gruyere pockets served with a delicious tomato catsup!
